Santa Ana Couch is a fine leafed lawn that thrives on sun and heat. It is tough and durable and looks best when mown short. Santa Ana is usually intolerant of heavy shade but can tolerate 10-20% of shade. If grown in fun sun Santa Ana is extremely hard-wearing. This variety of couch has a lighter green leaf giving it a superior appearance. Santa Ana has above ground runners which must be maintained by boarding.
