Turfing When laying new turf always lay a bed or good soil first, this gives the new grass roots easy downward growth, securing the grass a good water and nutrient supply. Never make the bed soil to sandy, this will slow don the water loss. If you have a clay soil add gypsum. It is always a good idea to check the soil Ph before laying new turf, it should be around 6-6.5 |
