Sand, soils, pebbles and all heavy products are sold by the tonne, whereas all mulches, composts, barks and litter products are sold by the cubic meter. So when ordering heavy products sold by the tonne use the Size/weight conversion rule to estimate the number of tonnes per cubic meter.
